#panels		¨oldJCM4 addJCM5		§The JCM window is divided into tabbed panels, which contain @plots, @treeMaker, @docview, and other @Tools

¤adju You can resize panels by dragging the bars which divide them.
¤adju You can split panels using the options in the popup menu which appears when you right-click at the top of a panel (next to the tabs)
¤adju This menu also includes an option to use internal windows instead of tabs (to return to tabs, - right click in the background of the internal desktop)

¤adju You can drag items from tabs to move them to another panel. 
If you drop the icon inside the same panel (but not inside the tab) it will split the panel (either horizontally or vertically, depending on where you drop it). If you drop the icon outside  the JCM window, its contents will move to an external window.

The layout will be saved when you close JCM and reloaded when you reopen it (see @setup)
